Hard Rock Hotel Panama Interior Designers CMC win ASID/Hospitality Design magazine Earth-Minded Awards Program

RICHMOND, VA. (April 9, 2008) – Lagomar Properties, Inc. has selected interior design firm Cole Martinez Curtis for its planned 601 key Hard Rock Hotel Resort in Playa Blanca, Panama. The selection came after an extended process in which a number of leading ID firms were considered.
“We are very pleased with the talent and flexibility shown by Jill Cole and the CMC team,” says Lagomar Chief Operations Officer Peter McElhinney. “They understand the cultural context of the area, and their use of new technologies to streamline and rationalize the design process was a major factor in their selection.
CMCA joins previously engaged architectural firm Milton Pate and landscape designers EDAW on the Hard Rock Panama project.  The hotel will encompass at least 601 keys in both tower and villa buildings spread over a lush 421 acre beachfront site near Coronado.  Amenities include swim up rooms, a children’s entertainment area (This hotel is going to rock.”
The Hard Rock Panama is scheduled for completion in 2012.
