Panama City Metro System
The Panama City Metro is a mass transportation network consisting of an urban train passing through their own road, rail and road space without taking the current, moving passengers efficiently and safely to the nearest station to their final destination.
It is a project born in the government of President Ricardo Martinelli to provide a comprehensive solution to one of the main problems of Panamanian citizenship that worsens every day.
With the participation of President Ricardo Martinelli as witness of honor was held the signing ceremony of three loan agreements with the Republic of Panama, for a total of $513 million to finance projects framed within the Government's social agenda including the construction of the Panama Metro and investment program IDAAN.En this act the Secretary of the Metro from Panama received a loan in the amount of $400 million which was endorsed by Engineer Robert Roy, Executive Secretary and President of CAF-American Development Bank America-Enrique Garcia, who said the line of funding approved for Panama "is a significant contribution to national development and has a direct impact on the quality of life of people.
